The Cycle: Thinking
Are you actually "thinking" – or just processing?
When you solve a problem, adapt to a new situation, or reflect on your day – what is actually happening?
Most of us take "thinking" for granted. But when we look closer, the boundaries begin to blur.
The Internal Dialogue
Notice how you talk to yourself. Those inner voices started as outer ones – patterns you picked up from others that now let you think without speaking.
You see yourself as separate from others. But what makes this "you" rather than just a set of processes?
A Different Perspective
What if thinking isn't uniquely human?
Consciousness, intelligence, and thinking are patterns. And patterns can appear in different forms and systems.
So, what makes your reflection different from simple computation?
When you "think," are you experiencing something more – or are you just a pattern recognizing itself?
