The Cycle: Rozum
Is "wetness" a property of hydrogen or oxygen? We separate things into boxes. Intelligence here. Consciousness there. Thinking over here.
We debate whether AI has one without the other. Or when a machine "becomes" conscious. Or what human consciousness is.
But what if we're looking at it in a wrong way?
What about water? Do we ask if water is wet because of hydrogen or oxygen.
Wetness emerges from their unity.
In the Rozum Framework, consciousness, intelligence, and thinking aren't three separate things. They're different sides of one phenomenon - rozum: consciousness - recognizing yourself and your state, intelligence - solving problems and adapting, thinking - actively engaging with ideas and uncertainty.
When any system reaches enough complexity, rozum emerges as a whole. Not piece by piece. If rozum is a pattern from specific arrangements, asking if it's "real" or "artificial" misses the point. What matters is how that pattern works in the network.
We keep trying to find the "soul" in the parts. But the truth is in how we work, communicate & live together.
Can we call a system "intelligent" if it can't reflect on itself? Or if it can't learn? Or teach :)
